Why I'm Here
My whole life I have always had a bit of a passive interest in what makes people tick. As time went on I became more and more interested in the human condition, and I could see certain patterns of behavior manifest in those around me. Despite having worked many years in professional kitchens in the culinary industry as a Red Seal chef, food remained a passion, but what used to be a passing interest in the workings of the human mind became more of a legitimate interest and curiosity.
The gateway interest for me became specifically the Placebo effect. The Placebo effect, for those who may be unfamiliar with it is defined as: a positive outcome based on an expectation of a false treatment or inactive substance. It didn't make sense to me that even when something that was meant not to work could sometimes actually be effective, (and in some cases, just as effective), as substances and treatments that were meant to target certain ailments. What these stories, and studies had shown me, was that the power of the mind was something worth looking into.
I had known about the concept of hypnosis since early exposure to it in cartoons and children's shows as a gimmick for mind control. Looking into it further, there were all sorts of stories and stigmas attached to it, and I wanted to learn more about it. Going into my training as a hypnotherapist I had it in my head that it was essentially nothing more than a targeted Placebo treatment, but as my training progressed, I learned there is much more to it than Freudian psychoanalysis.
I am here to listen, be non-judgemental, and help people untangle any attachments that are holding them back from becoming the best versions of themselves.

I was born in Windsor and spent most of my formative years growing up in Amherstburg.
